Case Study
Imperial College London Energy Transition
Assisted Imperial College London in transitioning its energy infrastructure toward net-zero carbon emissions.
My Role:
As Managing Director of Vital Energi I led the delivery of this critical energy infrastructure upgrade for one of the UK’s leading academic institutions.
Challenges:
Modernising outdated steam-based systems with more efficient, low-carbon alternatives, all while ensuring minimal disruption to operations in a busy academic environment.
Solutions:
Under my leadership, the legacy steam-generating infrastructure was replaced with a cutting-edge energy centre featuring low-carbon technologies and modern systems to improve efficiency and sustainability.
Results
The project significantly enhanced energy efficiency and reduced carbon emissions, aligning Imperial College London with its long-term sustainability and net-zero objectives.
